Brake Hose Mounting Bolt (Rear)

GM Style Bolt with shoulder used to mount the Rear Brake Hose to Rear End Assembly.

Note: Depending on the Brake Hose that you’re using you may need to drill it out to 3/8″ to accommodate the GM bolt with the built in shoulder. If you’re still using a Factory Brake Hose you will not need to drill it out as they’re already the correct size. We only see this on some of the Reproduction Brake Hoses on the market.

Also Note: 1970 Rear Ends use a Bracket to mount the Brake Hose.

1971/72 Rear Ends the Brake Hose attaches directly to the housing. The same bolt is used in either application.
