Z-Bar – Clutch Fork – Ball Studs – Adjustment Rod – Clutch Rod
This is our most complete Kit including our Big Block Z-Bar and Clutch Fork You'll get the following:
  • Big Block Z-Bar with Modified 1″ Opening, Clutch Rod Bushing & Bump Stop already Installed.
  • Big Block Clutch Fork
  • Big Block Clutch Rod
  • 1" Engine Ball Stud
  • Frame Ball Stud w/Muncie Rebuild Kit
  • Custom Adjustment Rod (A tad longer than stock for more adjustment)
  • Clutch Fork Bushing and 2) Retainer Pins
  Buick used there own 1″  size when it came to the Engine Ball Stud and Z-Bar. Originals are super hard to find simply because Buick didn’t produce a lot of 4 speed cars like the other GM Manufactures. This is also the reason why none of the Big Companies will reproduce them. (Not enough potential sales)   Note: Our Z Bar is the only one on the market featuring the 1" opening for the Engine Ball Stud. It's also the only one on the market with a "Bump Stop" for your Ball Stud Bushing to lodge against. Z-Bar – TPP Z Bar with 7/8″ opening for Smaller Engine Ball Stud
Reproduction Z-Bar that will work with 455 Engines. (Does require the smaller 7/8" Ball Stud though)  Item # MT 3704 Z Fits 1968 - 1972 Skylark, GS & GSX w/455 Engine . . They do not have the 1″ opening for the Engine Ball stud like Buick’s came with from the Factory. (So you’ll need to use a 7/8″ Ball Stud like what’s used on the 350 Cars) Our Item # MT 3704 Z . Z-Bar & Clutch Rod (TPP BBB Version)
New from TPP . . . . These were recently added to TPP's website. We have some in stock and here's what we observed. . . They do not have the 1" opening for the Engine Ball stud like Buick's came with from the Factory. (So you'll need to use a 7/8" Ball Stud like what's used on the 350 Cars) Our Item # MT 3704 Z . They do not have a "bump stop" for the Frame Side Ball Stud Bushings either. Without that your Z-Bar will simply "float" from side to side. Our Modified Z-Bars do have the bump stop in place! . They do have Bushing in place on the Clutch Rod end. (Which requires the proper BBB Clutch Rod!) It must have the correct End to fit into the Bushing that Buick used from the Factory. . Fits 1968 - 1972 Buick Skylark, GS & GSX with 400 or 455 Engine - with some exclusions. . . If you want the correct Z-Bar with 1" Ball Stud Opening, Bushing Bump Stop and a Clutch Rod order our Z-Bar - Item # ZBarKit3 Feel free to call me on these 4 Speed parts prior to purchasing since it is confusing. . .
